Robert J. Walsh
Rochester: Passed away on February 18, 2024. Robert is predeceased by his wife, Florence Walsh; parents, Maurice & Agnes Walsh; sisters, Lucille Parish & Debbie Walsh; brother, Billy LaRue; step-mother, Thelma Walsh. He is survived by his daughter, Ann (Gary) Struble; sister, Nancy Schmidt; several nieces & nephews.
Robert's life story will be shared during visitation, 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, February 23, at the funeral home. His funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00am. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made in Robert's name to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
Robert lived a life of service to others. This was exemplified by his service in the US Army, the Marine Fire Department in Charlotte & the Ontario Beach Parks Committee. He also worked as a cook with Eastman Kodak and Bob & Shirley's hot dog stand. His Honor Flight trip in 2019 was a truly special event that he cherished. Bob's most memorable trait was his ability to always make people laugh and feel welcomed by his friendly nature.
