John F. Nuccitelli (Mr. Nuch)

April 03, 1937 - January 30, 2022

Fred Knauf February 18, 2022

A wonderfiul man whose smile professed his outward love of life and of all people, which is what God asks of us all. He has earned his reward for such a life on this earth, to be with Jesus and His Father in Heaven. All the Nuccitelli family has been and will continue to be in my AQ family's prayers.

The Lewandowski Family was so sad to hear the news that Mr. Nuch had passed. There are countless fond memories of golf matches, Cape Vincent and Nuch's Alibi... and all of the trips the parents took together back in the good old days. He was a very wonderful man. We hope that they are all having as much fun together as they used to.

Marc Remillard February 4, 2022

I am very sad to hear of Mr. Nuch passing. As a hockey referee for 35 years I got to know him very well. I always looked forward to him walking in the refs locker room at Lakeshore to say hello before a game and to check on us after a game to make sure we were all ok. He was a class act always and I have lots of good memories of him. God bless you Mr. Nuch and your family as well.

Dave Montgomery February 3, 2022

On behalf of the entire Montgomery family, I send our sincere sympathy for the loss of our dear friend. John was a great man, a very generous man, and someone who was very easy to love. I'll always and forever be grateful for John getting me and my dad involved in coaching the Aquinas Hockey Team and the 9 years we spent together building a great team and a first class organization. Our family's prayers go out to the entire Nuccitelli family, as you mourn the loss of your loved one, and we all pray that Mr. Nuch will realize his hope for eternal life in God's heavenly kingdom through his faith and belief in Jesus Christ. God bless my wonderful friend's soul, as he sleeps now in peace. Dave Montgomery

It was my great pleasure to get to know and work with John when I served as the Executive Director of the Seneca Park Zoo Society in the 1990s . John was such a warm and genuine individual and a true joy to spend time with. His sincere commitment to the Zoo and its mission was manifested by his dedicated service on the Society's Board of Trustees which I greatly appreciated. I extend my sincere condolences to Diane and the rest of his loving family.

My favorite childhood memories are of the Nuccitelli family...roaming the woods with my sister and our best buddies, Chris and Michael, making up stories, plays, adventures, swimming in the pool. Johnny and Diane's home felt like my second home. As an adult, he shared his love of trains and exotic animals with my children. I always think of Johnny as a kind and gentle man. Hugging you all in my heart and wishing you peace and love as you hold onto the memories you've all shared through the years. Lisa DiTucci Maynard

Diane Chevron Wright February 1, 2022

I’ve known the Nuccitelli family for 40+ years since I met Diane in theatre. We became close friends and shared many memorable moments which many times included John and other family members. John was a gentleman and a gentle man and always interested in others. He and my husband enjoyed each other’s company and we all shared many laughs. John always welcomed me into all their homes with a smile and I could always make him laugh. We have all lost a wonderful friend and presence in our lives. Good night sweet Prince, parting is such sweet sorrow. I will hold the memory of you in my heart forever. Peace, deep peace.
