Shelly and the Masceri Tribe and particularly his grandchildren,
Your loss is heartfelt by many many people who knew your Amazing Grandfather. He touched many lives and had many friends but it was "YOU" , his grandchildren, who brought his greatest joy. There was never a time that I spoke to Greg that he did not bask in the glory of his beloved grandchildren. You were well loved by a special man and I want you to know that he thought the WORLD OF ALL OF YOU...ALL OF THE TIME.

I first met Cuz Greg when I got married to his cousin "Susie". Of course he impressed my massive family singing "My Way" and "New York, New York". To this day (and within the last few months even) my parents and sister were reminiscing and Greg's name and performance came up. This is 30 "years" after he dazzled us with is HUGE personality, exceptional wit, warm heart, and intoxicating sense of humor. When he stayed at our home on what was maybe his last visit down to Florida with Basil, (in TYPICAL GRAND BUDA STYLE) Greg and I stayed up all night debating "EVERYTHING" . i remember sitting in his back yard around a fire with a bunch of Buda in FREEZING cold weather, for many many hours while we debated (using formal Robert's Rule of Order and Committee of course) on which log had to be adjusted in order to get the best fire. (YES we had to have a couple drinks to get it all correct). And learning to play Texas Hold 'Em at Russ Senior's house and Greg getting frustrated because we did not play like we had real money on the table to be lost. Justin and Anthony still remember how generously he tipped for bringing the table food and drink. Clearly a man who wanted us to use our brains to think deeply, he always played "devils advocate" almost regardless of the topic. WE LOVED AND RESPECTED HIM FOR THAT. Greg was a GIANT, "THE" TRUE GRAND BUDA and most of all... he was a good guy. He will be surely missed.

Much love and respect to Greg and the Masceri Tibe..
Bobby (Sue, Justin and Anthony)
