Sylvia Jarrett
Rochester, NY, formerly of Omaha Nebraska: March 13, 2024, at age of 87. Sylvia is predeceased by her husband, Edward W. Jarrett; her parents, James and Angela (Manganello) DeSalvo; brothers, Russell DiSalvo and James DeSalvo. She is survived by her children, Leslie (Ronald) Colavecchia, and Kenneth (Cindy) Jarrett; grandchildren, Nicole (Ryan) Penfold, Michael Colavecchia, Katie (Neil) Flynn, Kelsey Jarrett; great-grandchildren, Eliana and Jameson Penfold; sister and brother-in-law, Nicoletta (Bernard) Habermehl of Buffalo, NY; brother, Richard DeSalvo of Arizona; sister-in-law, Marjorie F. Bailey of Ohio.
During retirement Sylvia loved traveling with Ed, especially to Hawaii and Florida with their special friends. They'd enjoy casinos and golfing, she even shot a hole in one. After moving to Rochester she enjoyed spending time with the family especially the great-grandchildren and her trip back to Omaha to see close friends and attend her granddaughter, Katie's wedding.
The family sends special thanks for the kindness and caring staff at the Mt. Carmel Hospice House.
Sylvia's service and interment with Ed will be held in Western New York National Cemetery at the family's convenience.
