Mike, the 3rd child was the ultimate "birthday gift," being born on his mother's birthday. He graced her presence on a spring day, May 27th, 1953 in Malone, New York. His father, Clifford owned Wembly Construction and his mother, Gertrude was a homemaker. Mike was blessed with many siblings, including Clifford Jr., Stuart, Barbara Sherri & Ted.

Mike attended Johnsburg Central School in North Creek. In his senior year he moved to Rochester and attended Monroe Community College to study accounting. Mike was introduced to Cheryl by a neighbor and eventually they married in Queensbury, NY. They had 2 children, Craig & Michelle. While the family was growing up, Mike worked at Wembly Construction & Monroe Livingston Sanitary Landfill as a heavy equipment operator. As a family they traveled to the Adirondacks every year.

Mike had many interests and hobbies; fishing, puzzles, cars, slot-car racing, camping and cruising. Along with his hobbies he enjoyed suspense shows, history & country music. Mike had a great sense of humor that he shared with his family and friends. No one will forget his favorite sayings: "pull my finger" and "in a lil' bit."

Those that knew him will always remember his joking personality, loving smile and meticulous nature. He was not a man of many words, but when he spoke people would come away with a sense of comfort from his words. He most definitely has left a legacy of love and respect.
