Jim was a long time Scouting friend. He and I attended a lot meetings together. I always saw Jim as a great, knowledgeable friend; always with a gentle word and a welcoming smile. Will miss his scouting presence.

Jim and I were Scouters together. He helped me and I helped him. I will miss the dinners that Laura and Jim and my wife, Nancy, and I had together. I will be eternally grateful to him for encouraging me during my cancer recovery. He was a dear friend and he will be missed.

Mr. Jim joined me in the play yard of Ooey-Gooey Playschool and allowed the kids to pretend to shave his beard using shaving cream, which of course turned into shaving cream everywhere on Mr. Jim!!!! A memory with a warm, kind, funny, loving, happy beautiful man that I will cherish forever!! Grateful for our friendship.
