I was a graduate of ECS and one of hundreds, thousands that he helped guide. I remember Mr Abrams fondly. My condolences to the family.

Condolences to Mrs. Abrams and the entire family of Coach Abrams. My fondest memories are from Baseball at ECS and the many rounds of golf we played in my adult life. But also included are the many times I would run into both Mr. and Mrs. Abrams in the last 10-15 years...always greeted with a smile , handshake and short but nice conversation. Chuck Hoover

Lorraine Rybak March 3, 2023

I was so sorry to see this news today. Al was a very respected member of our Elba Faculty. I can't begin to guess at the number of students he helped through his position as guidance counselor. I send my sympathy to his entire family. I know he was very devoted to all of you. Al lived a long and good life. May he now be at peace. Sincerely, Lorraine Rybak

Very sad to hear that Uncle Al has passed. Many fond memories of his calm and friendly manner. Still remember the visits out to visit the whole family at their country home in Elba. My heartfelt sympathies and prayers to Aunt Peg and entire family. Uncle Al I’m sure is now enjoying a special place in heaven reserved for the very best people and wonderful lives led.
