Frances was an active member of St. Jude's Marian League.

Frances's life story will be shared during visitation, 1:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, February 19th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, at the Parish of the Holy Family Church, 4100 Lyell Road. Memorial donations can be made in Frances's name to the Parkinsons Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.

Fran was born in South Fork, Pennsylvania in 1938. She, her parents, and her sister Dolores moved to Rochester, NY in 1942 to be with her grandmother, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She graduated from East High School and shortly after graduation began working at Eastman Kodak.

During her time at Kodak, she met her future husband, Joseph Nasca. They were married in 1961 and had two sons, Joseph and Michael. Their family life consisted of Sunday family picnics, many vacations, and relaxing times at their summer home on Rushford lake where many great family memories were made. Fran was blessed with her first grandchild David in 1995 and two years later Rachel. Her husband Joseph passed away in 1998, but her grandchildren filled the void with many fun times such as Disney movies or going to Friendly's restaurant.

Fran was an active member of Saint Jude's Marian league, the gates senior group, and also the hidden Valley Association. She enjoyed bowling for several years with her cousin, aunt, and friends. Wednesday luncheons with the "Lunch Bunch", which was made up of her first cousins were always a highlight for her. She would also have 7 PM phone calls to her aunt Fran to discuss the events of the day such as the Yankees, or the Buffalo Bills.

In 2019, Fran was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease which affected her walking. Last March, Fran experienced a stroke, which left her debilitated. Despite this, she still enjoyed visits from her sons and family at the Wegman Cottages nursing home on the Unity Hospital campus. Four months ago, Fran became a great-grandmother for the first time to Oliver Thomas. Each time she saw her great-grandson, it brought a smile to her face. Although we will miss her terribly we know that Mom is in a much better place now with her husband and family.
