Mary Beth Dixon, as we also lovingly referred to her as "MB"!, our dearest friend. She was more like extended family. My colleague at Irondequoit High School for over 27 years. I appreciate, Pat McCue's reference to Mary Beth, Nancy and I , as the "three musketeers" and that we were. We shared not only our lives as paraprofessionals but our family lives too. We laughed, we cried, we cheered, we cared for each other. Mary Beth loved the students. She genuinely cared about their feelings. So many stories could be told from all of these years. After the three of us retired in 2013, we continued our friendship and shared lunches together, supported each other in good times and in bad. I will deeply miss my dear friend, Mary Beth. Even as I write these words, I cannot believe she is gone physically from our lives. She will never be forgotten! Until we meet again! Karl and I send our prayers and condolences to Dick and all the family and friends of Mary Beth. May she rest in peace.

My condolences to the Dixon family, and all of Mary Beth's many friends and family members. I worked with her as her principal in West Irondequoit for 11 years, and she was a ray of sunshine in our school. She was a wonderful colleague to all, especially as one of our paraprofessional "three musketeers" with her dear friends Diane Gilman and Nancy McBride. I'll always appreciate Mary Beth's compassionate approach to all students - she had a smile for all no matter how bad their day was going. A true professional; I was honored to work with her.

So sorry to hear of Mary Beth’s passing. I worked at Irondequoit too and had a chance to see Mary Beth almost every day. Sending my sympathy and prayers. Judy Lavan

I worked with Mary Beth at West Irondequoit high school for many years. I was sad to see her retire. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a great work ethic. She would save me a donut on donut day and she always dressed to the 9's. She was the epitome of class. I was honored to know her.

Aunt Mary Beth was my Godmother and if I had any say in handpicking the one for me, she’d be the one I’d pick all over again. She always seemed excited and happy to see my siblings and I whenever we got together for any occasion. I immediately identified her sense of humor and always wanted to keep her entertained. She was always a great audience for my many stories. She was a great friend to my parents and always went above and beyond to support my siblings and I in whatever achievements that were special to us. She was so happy for my wife and I when we were able to bring our son into this world. I’m so glad my son got to know her and love her. So many great memories from over the years and holiday’s made special by spending them with her. I hope she knows she was loved and admired by many and she will never be forgotten. I love you and thanks for everything!

Aunt Mary Beth will forever be loved and remembered. I hope she knew how thankful I am that she was always there for my daughters and me. She supported and celebrated my family through good and bad times. Her smile and her love made us feel so blessed to have family that loved us so much. I will forever cherish all the good times we have had and there are so many, from being a small little girl spending time during the summer in Rochester at their house. Uncle Dick and Aunt Mary Beth were so much fun and took me on all the roller coasters at amusement parks. They loved roller coasters more than me. I will cherish all the Dixon family parties and milestone celebrations where we would always have the best times; the times when my brothers and I would get together with our cousins because our parents had their " No shit weekends"; all our trips to Florida with Brett, Vanessa, Alyssa and Juliana; and our summer get together's with Avery and my girls. The thing I'm most grateful and thankful for is the love and friendship that my Uncle Dick and Aunt Mary Beth have given to my parents. My parents and my Aunt and Uncle have such a special lifetime bond that is truly beautiful. Thank you for everything! I love you so much Aunt Mary Beth!!! Love, Katie

My Aunt Mary Beth means so much to me, always has. I am thankful for the love, faith and family she gave me. She was truly a force. The impact she had on myself and my children and family will always stay with me. Laughter always surrounded our conversations and I knew she would always be there for me. From childhood she and my dear Uncle Dick treated me to joyful summers in Rochester, Darien Lake, Seabreeze, Toronto and more. Throughout my adulthood , I was blessed that they came regularly to CT to visit. These memories will last forever for my children. From seaside dining, to museum tours, Mass, my kids birthdays & Sacraments, shopping and more -I am so grateful we had those times together. Thank you for loving me. God bless you always and until me meet again, Reba

Aunt Mary Beth was always such a fun person to be with. She brought warmth, wit, and a lot of laughs to every room she walked into. I’ll never forget the most important lesson she taught me from a young age: to set boundaries. Or, at least, that’s how I’m choosing to to reframe her teaching a 2-year-old Beth to sing “nah nah na boo-boo, I don’t want to!” ❤️

Sending my love to all who were blessed to know and love her!
