Jim & Mary Suflita August 20, 2022

We are very sad to hear of his passing we extend our deepest condolences to the Marianne the Katz family during this difficult time. We shared camping experiences with Bruce in his active role as a Scout Leader within our Troop. With his natural teaching skills he assisted many of the scouts to earn merit badges and advance in rank. In addition he used his instructor skills to train adult leaders in various administration topics needed for the Scouting program. He was a role model for other Scouts and Leaders and applied the principles of the Scout Oath in his daily life. We will keep Bruce and his family in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Dan Scurlock August 19, 2022

As a long-time scout leader, always loved my time with Bruce. Always principled to training other leaders and scouts alike, Bruce's talent /dedication to education was always obvious. I always enjoyed Bruce's "word puns"/ Bruce was a man I highly respected and called him a scouting friend. We've lost a good scout leader! Dan Scurlock

Bruce will be missed by so many. My family had the honor of knowing the Katz family through Boy Scouts and Odyssey. When my husband passed Bruce very graciously spoke at Mike's memorial. A wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Phillip Zapkin August 12, 2022

Bruce was a good friend to my dad and I. He was a great leader and inspiration to everyone in our Boy Scout troop. He will be much missed.

What a fascinating life Bruce lived from this life story.
I knew him as a high school classmate and then later when I’d read his intelligent wisdom and wit on Facebook.
He truly was a leader among us that will be missed.
My condolences to his family. -J. Mook

Wow! What a shock. I worked with Bruce as a Boy Scout leader. What a wonderful person. Great to work with, great to learn from, great to teach, a great volunteer, and a a great family man. Heaven got a new Scoutmaster. He will be missed. I will miss him.

I worked with Bruce at Xerox and we both survived getting our MBAs together at RIT. I was always impressed with his intelligence and his knowledge about so many topics. Bruce talked about his sons and how proud he was of them. Hopefully the knowledge that he was so highly regarded by his Xerox colleagues will give you comfort in the days ahead. RIP Bruce

Phil Hurwitz August 8, 2022

Rest in peace, good and faithful brother.

Jay Abraham - Domtar August 8, 2022

When talent like Bruce and John left Xerox that vacuum of high level technical expertise could never be replaced. It was a great joy to work on Xerox media projects with Bruce. Thank you for sharing him with us at Xerox all those years.

Christian Redder August 8, 2022

I had the great pleasure of working with Bruce for many years at Xerox. His passion for his work was both palpable and contagious. Any time he could share his deep knowledge with others--Xerox customers in particular--he rose to the occasion, conveying details in a humble yet prideful way about the science of paper and how he and his colleagues strove to optimize its performance in xerographic equipment. Xerox media was known the world-over for being the absolute best, and that is due in large measure to Bruce.
