I have fond memories of Reinhold officiating at Holleder Stadium for the Rochester Lancer games in the old NASL. As a referee, twice I was assessed by Reinhold, accompanied by Joyce. The assessments he gave me were different than I received from other Assessors. His advice encouraged me to upgrade to a State Referee, even when I thought I was too old. Reinhold was a good man and great referee. Rest in Peace Reinhold. My sympathies to Joyce, his daughter and the rest of his family and friends.
We always looked forward to the RDSL R-Spath Cup Final and seeing Reinhold hold court among the referees.
