Thursday was a very sad day. We lost our family patriarch - Kevin\'s father - Tony Contestabile - whom we both call \"Dad\", and my boys (along with all the grandchildren) have always affectionately called \"Umpa\". Dad had been struggling for a while with some health issues, but it became really difficult after we lost Mom a couple year\'s ago. He has missed her so, so much. Together, they were such a great example of true love - both for each other, and for ALL their family. Now, they are together again. No more pain and needles and doctors for Dad. No more missing \"his Honey\". I am thankful for that. I\'m also thankful we had Dad in our lives as long as we did, and I selfishly admit that I wish it could\'ve been a bit longer... He has been a wonderful father, father-in-law. He\'s been the best \"Umpa\"/grandfather you could ask for to our boys. I appreciate that even more, since losing my own father just before Dylan was born. We will all miss Dad/Umpa, and his little jokes, immensely. We are heartbroken without him... but, how lucky were we to have had him, and his love, in our lives? The love goes on. ❤ - Deb Contestabile
