Patricia "Pat" Wallace Miner

GATES - February 6, 2021. Family meant the world to Pat. She is survived by her loving husband Ed Miner; adoring sons, Stephen (Dawn) Miner & Kevin (Andrea) Miner; her cherished grandchildren, Cora Ann Miner, David Miner & Mackenzie Miner. 

Per NYS regulations, all guests are required to wear a face mask and hand sanitize at the funeral home and church.

Pat's life story will be shared during her visitation at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd.), Friday, February 12th, 1-4 PM. Her funeral mass will be celebrated, Saturday, February 13th, 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., followed by her burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.

Patricia "Pat" Wallace Miner was born in Gates, NY. She attended Gates-Chili High School, graduating in 1962. She attended Monroe Community College. She went on to work at French's for 10 years on their assembly line. Later in life she worked as a bus driver for the Gates-Chili School District for 8 years.

Pat was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at Post 468. She was known for her cooking. Her most well-known dishes were her Glumpkies, Apple Pie, Chicken & Parika. Pat enjoyed making gingerbread cookies with her grandkids around the holidays. She enjoyed refinishing furniture and shopping of all kinds. Noter Dame was her favorite football team and enjoyed attending games with her family.
Pat loved to entertain her family and friends, attend theater shows, listening to 40's & 50's music. Her favorite TV show was Law & Order along with watching cooking shows & Days of Our Lives. She will always be remembered as honest, quiet, a role model & mentor to others, friendly & reliable. Pat loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
