March 29, 2005 at age 90. She is survived by her children, Gale C. Wood, William H. (Ruth Ann) Wood, Eloise W. (Donald) Wendt; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Henry R. Nolte; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Borghardt; several nieces nephews.



History

Emily retired from Floral Park High School, where she worked for over 20 years. She was 16 when she met Bill and at 21 they married. They were married for 56 years until Bill`s death in 1991. She was a graduate of Packer University. She enjoyed reading and loved to cook. She loved her family very much and enjoyed every moment spent with her beloved Bill and her children and grandchildren. She had a wonderful life and she will be sadly missed.

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) Visiting Hours will be Thursday March 31, 2005 from 3-7 PM. Funeral Services and interment will be held in Long Island at the convenience of the family.
