Mary is survived by her children, John H. Short Jr., Doreen J. (Mark) Crane Jackie M. Smahol; grandchildren, Casey Crane, Nicole (Michael) Fry Jessica (Jesse Lemboris) Smahol; 2 great-grandchildren, Joshua Fry Kyra "Kiki" Fry; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.



History

Mary`s life was very centered on her family. There was nothing more important to her. As she became a wife to John she was proud and with the birth of her children this pride intensified, as her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren were born she became even more proud of her family. She always looked forward to spending the holidays with family. Any time someone visited her home there was always a fresh baked pan of brownies ready to be served. Mary could best be described as outgoing, loving, reliable and a wonderful caregiver to the needs of others. She loved her dogs and enjoyed bowling. One of the more important relationships she had in her life was with her dear friend Ginette Ziemniak. Mary enjoyed listening to songs by Jimmy Rogers.

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Mary's visitation will be Tuesday, April 10th, 2-4 7-9. Mary's Funeral Service will be celebrated Wednesday, April 11th, 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Mary's Interment in Riverside Cemetery will be private.
