Survived by

Survived by his loving wife of 51 years Jeanne (Masetta) Slade; beloved children, Martin (Linda) Slade, Kevin Slade Karen (Bob) MacDonald; cherished grandaughter Alison Synborski; cherished great-grandson Jacob Synborski; sisters and brother, Margaret Fose, Richard (Verna) Slade, Mary Downing Florence (Joseph) Giovino; sisters-in-law brothers-in-law, Arlene Slade, Joseph Masetta, Vincent (Phyllis) Masetta Eleanor Calabra; several nieces nephews.



History

Patrick was passionate in his love for Jeannie and his children. He could be seen with a smile on his face anytime a child was in his presence. He especially enjoyed yearly family fishing trips to Canada. Pat was loved for his gentle spirit and his kindness. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He loved Western stories, and enjoyed movies and books with western themes. He also enjoyed playing cards and traveling with his family. He was noted as the "king of garage sales."

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Pat`s visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2-4 7-9 PM. Pat`s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 2, 10 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. (West of Elmgrove Rd.). Interment Holy Ghost Cemetery.



Additional Information

Patrick was a Korean War Veteran where he proudly served in the US Navy. Pat was very proud of his time served in the Navy and he was very active in local Veterans outreach programs. Pat always looked forward to his Navy Reunions and was a member of Harvey C. Noone Post # 954.
