Survived by his loving children Louis (Karen) Masi, Mary Louise (Don) Szefc; daughter-in-law Barbara Masi; grandchildren, Sherri (Alphonse) Sciortino, George Jr. (Julie) Masi, Dawn Masi, Adam Masi, Jaime Szefc Nikki Szefc; great-grandchildren, Jake Sciortino, James Sciortino, Justin Masi Nicole Masi; sister Rose Dretto; sisters-in-law Ann Masi Frances Masi; several nieces, nephews and friends.



History

George loved being surrounded by his family. When he made business decisions he always had his family in mind. He was hard working, strong willed, honest, devoted and loyal. George enjoyed gardening and baseball.



Donations

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623 in George's memory.



Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane, (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where George's visitation will be Friday, April 15, 3-8 PM. George's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 16, 10 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, St Martins Way. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.



Additional Information

George founded Mascot Inc. over 50 years ago. Mascot Inc. began as a small one person outfit, George`s hardwork and dedication to his craft allowed the company to grow to what it has become today. George and his family have remained dedicated to building homes in the Greece community for 3 generations. George was a member of the Rochester Home Builders Association. George`s contribution to the community live on, they are evident in all of the neighborhoods that his company brought to the community. Every single home his company ever built has a piece of George`s watchful eye.
