To know Lou is to love Lou. I met Lou when he stared to work for Pan American World Airways at JFK Airport. He told me about his interment by the Japanese when they occupied Indonesia. Not a pleasant story.
he was an outstanding Mechanic when we worked together on the B-707 and the the Douglas DC-8.. we were very close friends and spent plenty of time with each other’s friends and families.
I consider myself very fortunate to have known him for many years.
