Survived by his loving wife Kathleen (Kyle) Cassata; daughters Suzanne DDS (Ray) Cassata-Poole, Amy (Jorge) Cassata-Garcia of FL Janine (Dan) Cassata-Robinson; mother Frances Cassata; grandchildren Kyle Poole, Tyler Poole, Justin Poole, Vincent Garcia; sister Mary (Pat) Loporcaro; father-in-law William Kyle; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces nephews.



History

He was a graduate of Aquinas Institute, The University of Rochester the Eastman School of Music, the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Buffalo received A Certificate of Orthodontics from Columbia University. Russell was a member of: American Dental Association, Dental Society of New York, Seventh District Dental Society, Monroe County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, New York State Society of Orthodontists, Seventh District Society of Orthodontists, Rochester Dental Study Club, Lakeside Dental Study Club, Appolonian Dental Study Club, Eastman Dental Center - Founders Society Pierre Fauchard Academy International College of Dentists. Russell was the past-president of the Monroe County Dental Society the Seventh District Dental Society of the State of New York. He was the recipient of the George D. Greenwood Award from the Seventh District Dental Society.

Services

Visitation Thursday, September 21st from 4PM until 8PM. Russell's Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 on Friday at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Rd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.



Additional Information

Russell will be remembered for the love of his family and respected for work as a dentist. He enjoyed music, fishing, boating softball. Russell shared his musical talent with his band, the Russell Cassata Quartet.
