Henry is predeceased by his wife Jean Opipari; parents, Joseph Ninfa Opipari; brother Carl Opipari.



Survived by

He is survived by his children, Patty (Mike) Ewin Debbie (Bill) Schroeder; grandchildren, Jeff Ewin, Ashley Ewin Christopher Schroeder; sister-in-law Rose Opipari; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.



History

Henry was a very social person. He and wife Jean enjoyed entertaining, dancing and going out to dinner. When most people their age were calling it a night they were just beginning their evening. Most important to Henry was his love and support of his family. His children and granchildren meant the most to him. Those who knew Henry remember him fondly as a "Good Guy". His story telling was legendary, even if you heard the same story more than once. Henry Jean enjoyed travelling the world. Just a few of their destintations include, Hawaii, Italy and Spain. Henry liked his cars. He especially enjoyed driving Cadillacs and Lincolns. Henry knew the importance of giving back. He was an active volunteer with Kiwanis who enjoyed helping others.

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Henry's Visitation will be Sunday, May 18th, 1-5 PM. Henry's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 9:15 AM at St. John's of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, followed by his Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park.



Additional Information

He was a member West Central Kiwanis the IACC. Henry was involved in Food Service for most of his life. He has worked for others and owned many establishments. He owned the Exit 45 Motel, Opipari`s Restaurant in Victor Henry`s Tavern on St. Paul St. In his earlier years he managed the Thunderbird Motel in Ocala, Fl and worked at different establishments as a bartender and bar manager.
