Dot was a kind, loving woman who was always sincerely interested in hearing people's stories. I'll always remember when you, Dottie, and your mom took the Cape May-Lewes ferry over to visit us in DE. We had such a good visit. Your mother was one of those special people we meet during our journey here on earth. I feel that it was a gift to have known her. I feel the same about knowing you and yours. She will be missed.
Take care of yourselves.
Love,
Joan Brower

I was so blessed to have know Dot, even for a short 2 plus years as a caregiver/companion. That smile of hers just would light up a room and bring such joy to people. Her stories about Cape May and her family were so beautiful.
She enjoyed singing at the Easter and Christmas concerts with her friends and we had so much fun. Dot loved her walk around the block as we called it and resting at her favorite bench along the way. Watered the plants and listened to music on our walk.
Dot was an inspiration and very special lady to me and and I thank you Dotty for bringing us together.
Such a beautiful and loving family.

Dottie,
As you know my relationship with your mom was a long distance one. I only spent "in person" time with her infrequently over the last 50 years. However, we formed a strong, loving bond and I treasured her friendship over the years. She was a warm, compassionate and caring individual. I am so glad Julie got to meet her. Julie and I have such wonderful memories of our visit with her at her home in Cape May. Our hearts are breaking but we know she's been reunited with her beloved husband. Now you have 2 angels together, watching over you and your family.
Love Always,
Marilyn and Julie Grau

Your Mom was in my life for 65 years. There are so many memories from our childhood. She was beautiful, kind, smart and so giving. Those sand tarts are my favorite cookie. I will make it every Christmas and always think of her. I loved her and will miss her. Lynne Romaine MacLuskie
