Daniel was predeceased by his son Kevin Guay.



Survived by

He is survived by his wife Theresa (DeCarolis) Guay; children, Rachael Guay, Johnathan Guay Michael Guay; many family members and friends.



History

Daniel was very athletic and he enjoyed watching sporting events. He participated in wrestling, boxing, hockey soccer. His passion for sports found him coaching his own children in their pursuits. Daniel enjoyed watching football and his favorite team was the Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed spending time on and in the water, he enjoyed water skiing, boating swimming. He was an accomplished Bass Fisherman and had won many local tournaments. Daniel also enjoyed snowmobiling where the adrenaline side of his personality flourished. Daniel was serious, strong willed, hard working, patient and he sometimes had a misunderstood dry sense of humor. Daniel liked to stay at home and he was never far from his favorite chair watching some type of sporting event. From time to time Daniel enjoyed to dance. He enjoyed cats especially his favorite "sky".

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Daniel's visitation will be Friday, December 21st, 4-7 PM immediately followed by his Funeral Service at 7PM. Interment Private.



Additional Information

Daniel was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a member of Local 86 for over 30 years, where Daniel served as the Secretary. While in attendance of the Union he also taught his craft to others through the Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
