Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Marie Quercia, adoring children, Raymond (Donna) Quercia, Karen (James) Verna; devoted grandchildren, Andrew, Melissa Verna, Michael, Marc Matthew Quercia; mother Jennie Quercia; many dear friends. Ray's family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Rochester General Hospital, SICU Unit for their support.
History
Ray was a loving father and extremely devoted grandfather. He was extremely well natured and loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed: playing baseball and golf, card playing, food and the NY Yankees. Ray would regularly get together with his many different group of friends for breakfast. Of special note was his regular get togethers with his 8th grade buddies and their teacher Sister Wilma.

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd) where Ray's visitation will be Wednesday, May 11th, 2-4 7-9. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 12th, 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Additional Information
Ray owned and operated Quercia`s Disposal Service in Rochester, NY. Ray had signed a contract to play Baseball for the NY Giants in 1949. Ray was very active at Aquinas Insititute. He was a JV Baseball Coach, founder of the AQ Sports Booster Club and he was a regular fixture working in the concession booth at AQ. Ray also owned a Race Horse, which competed in harness racing.
