It is with great sadness that we share the news that our mother passed away on February 28, 2023. Leah passed peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Bernard and Anna Lipshitz on April 9, 1937. She graduated from North Rose High School, attended Harper College then moved to Rochester NY. Leah is predeceased by her husband of nearly six decades, Thomas A. Spinelli. They took winter residence in Wyndemere CC, in Naples Florida.

She is survived by her children, William (Monique) Spinelli, Michael Spinelli, Ann (Mike) Wood, Tom Spinelli, Jr.; grandchildren Richard (Sarah) Wood, David (Jordan) Wood, Louis Wood, Frank Spinelli, Nicholas Spinelli, and Steven Spinelli; great grandchildren Harper, Paisley and Colton; she is also survived by two sisters, brother, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Leah was a devoted wife and mother, and her family was the focus of her life. She loved to cook, host holidays, going on family trips, traveling, reading voraciously, playing golf and bridge.

Leah's celebration of life will be April 15, 10:30 AM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.) Private interment next to her husband Thomas in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to mom's favorite charity Alzheimer's Support Network, 1421 Pine Ridge Rd. Suite 100 Naples, Fl 34109.
