Bernard J. Kasper
Greece: Sadly passed away on September 18, 2023 surrounded by his family. Bernie is predeceased by his parents, John & Mary Kasperowicz; brothers, Chester Kasperowicz, Anthony Kasper & Felix "Buzzy" Kasperowicz. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 73 years, Frances (Bojara) Kasper; children, Bernadette (Bob) Hannon, Steven (Heidi) Kasper & Kim (Tom) Bianchi; grandchildren, Dr. Kevin (fiancé Natalie Bob) Hannon, Dr. Benjamin (Alyssa) Kasper, Thomas (Ae'Neisha) Bianchi, Alyssa Bianchi & LeeAnna Bianchi; sister, Jeannette (Dave) Vacchetto; brothers, Edward Kasper & Michael (Angela) Kasperowicz; sister-in-law, Phyllis Kasperowicz; many nieces, nephews & dear friends.
Bernie was a proud Navy Veteran, serving both in World War II & the Korean Conflict. He saw the world through his occupation as a film developer with Eastman Kodak. He enjoyed a fulfilling 40-year retirement. His family was his central passion and he loved spending time with them. Bernie was quick-witted, generous and fun to be with. He was a good man, husband and father. In his later years he enjoyed antiquing, going out to eat, sitting on the porch, eating ice cream and playing with his friend "Peanuts" the dog. His family would like to extend a special thank you to Pat Frearson for all her support and love.
Bernie's life story will be shared during visitation, 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, September 21st at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
