I met Patty in the summer of 1961 when my family moved into a house across the street from the Hebergers. I was 6 and Patty was 5. We became best friends and were always playing together. Those were the days when kids played outdoors! We played Barbie dolls, croquet, badminton, "Mother May I", played on our swing set, rode bikes to the library, played in the Heberger's pool all summer, played cards, acted out our favorite TV shows, and in our teenage years went to many Red Wing games. In high school we spent all of our free time together in the library. Patty had a great sense of humor and we giggled and laughed all the time. Even her letters to me when I was in the Army made me laugh. She was my maid of honor at my wedding. What a gift she was!
My deepest sympathy to Gary, Susan, "Johnnie", and your families.
Patty hah a smile for all she met. Her contagious personality along with her positive spirit on life is a true tribute to her life, her family and friends. God bless her husband, Gary, and her family.

I enjoyed visiting with Patty when we worked together at Lakeside, as well as spending time with her and her father- both wonderful people. I am so sorry for your loss and shocked she was so young. She will always be remembered for having a kind heart and warm smile, my thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days to come.
