Winning several awards, serving on different boards throughout Monroe County and across the US, and being inducted into the Hall of Fame for ITE (Institute of Transportation Engineers) an international organization. He was also instrumental in designing and naming the Colonel O'Rourke Bridge formerly the Stutson St bridge.
In his spare time, he enjoyed volunteering at the Chamber of Commerce in Cape Vincent and his association board on Kirkdale Circle. He had a love for trains and traveling on Amtrak. Frank was an avid walker and a terrible golfer. He loved his home in Cape Vincent and the St. Lawrence River. His family was the most important thing to him and he made that known to all who asked.
Our family would like to give special thanks to Hildebrandt Hospice Facility. All of the doctors, nurses, aides, and staff for the unbelievable care they gave to Frank at the end of his journey. They have left a lasting imprint on our hearts.
