Loretta was born in Rochester, NY in 1935 and lived for almost 88 years. She spent over 70 of those years with Bob after falling in love over donuts and Italian bread in her parent's bakery (Cassata's Bakery). After Bob returned from the Navy they married and raised their four children.

What best describes Loretta and how we should remember her, is her infectious smile and contagious laughter. She adoringly loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren...but nothing was more important than her husband of 67 years. We should all strive to have the love and dedication they had for each other.

Loretta loved surrounding her days with family and friends who she cherished. Loretta loved planning many family trips that were taken both domestically and abroad, always collecting new friends along the way.

She truly loved preparing meals for her family and friends. Loretta had the ability to pull together a meal with whatever was in the refrigerator; always delicious and usually more than needed. Just weeks before she passed, she was making pizza for the family.

Loretta had fond memories of working at Sears as a Personnel Manager for over 20 years where she made lifelong friends.

The family would also like to thank those who recently helped our beloved wife and mother during these challenging times; Lori, Jen, Mae, Kathy, the staff at Unity Health's ICU unit, especially Dr. Ferrantino, Mike Pope PA, Danielle, and Jenny of the 4100 wing as well as those at Hildebrandt Hospice facility. Our family cannot thank you enough for your care and compassion during this difficult time.
