Obituary

Carol Lennox of Rochester, NY passed away peacefully on November 26, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born September 10, 1937 in Syracuse, NY where she met the love of her life, Edward Lennox. They were married April, 1960 and together they raised their 10 children, Kathleen (William) Slocum, Michael (Lisa) Lennox, Christine (Mark) Faulkner, David (Susan) Lennox, Patricia (George) Grimshaw, Cheryl (Stuart) Mazeau, Ellen Lennox, Edward (Shannon) Lennox, Daniel (Shannon) Lennox, Sarah (Jerry) Smith. She is also survived by her grandchildren, William (Lorna) Slocum, II, Alaina (Tyler) Beehler, Erin (Matt) Zarbo, Adam (Kate Augustine) Lennox, Nathan, Adam, Brandon, & Elizabeth Faulkner, Andrew (Paige Maier) Lennox, Jessica (Nick) Popielarz, Amanda (Dan Fitz Morris) Lennox, Ashley (John) Altobello, Katherine (Brian Freese) Grimshaw, Joseph (Kenzie) Grimshaw, Codey (Sara McNeil) Mazeau, Derek (Bianca) Mazeau, Courtney Mazeau, Bailey, Kalyn, Joshua, & Megan Davis, Jacob, Ryan, & Connor Lennox, Brayden, Brody, & Aubrey Lennox, and Jordan Smith; 10 Great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lennox; sister & brother-in-law, Eileen & Gary Tefft; sister-in-law, Kay Lennox; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Carol was a devoted Catholic. She loved attending any type of sporting event especially if her children or grandchildren were playing. She also loved to travel and visit the Casinos. Her most precious memory was her trip to Hawaii. She called it her trip of a lifetime.

Special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at St. Ann's Community for the attention & care they gave Carol.

Carol's life story will be shared during her visitation, Thursday, Dec. 1st, 1-3 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, Dec. 2nd, at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Her interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621, or to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 42040 Oklahoma City, OK 73123 in Carol's memory.
