Laurie married Brian Rasmusson in 1985. They were married for 37 years and made their home on the shore of Lake Ontario in Hilton, NY. The devoted and involved family matriarch with a wide spreading family tree, Laurie was loved by all.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Rasmusson; brother, Scott H. Matthews, Cindy Shaw; brother-in-law, George Bowman. She is predeceased by her sister, Wendy Matthews Bowman. Laurie always loved time spent with her many nieces and nephews. Lifelong friends, Terry and Barb were always at her side for laughs and to help thru tough times.
