Obituary

Ann Cicero Kenna, 79, passed away on June 17, 2022, in Rochester, NY with family at her side. Ann was born on January 4, 1943, in Warsaw, NY, to Sam and Carrie Cicero. She graduated from Perry High School in 1961. Ann worked as a bank teller prior to marrying Jim Kenna on June 19, 1965, in Perry, New York. The couple had 3 children, Michelle(Mark) LaBue, Paul(Kim) Kenna, and Julie(Mike)Beale. While raising a family, Ann also provided childcare for various families in town and was involved in numerous volunteer organizations.

Ann cherished spending time with her family and friends on vacations, holidays, and gatherings. She traveled throughout the U.S. and overseas, particularly interested in the location's history, and spending time picking out thoughtful gifts for family. She was active in the Dansville community, volunteering for Livingston County, and serving in various capacities for the town, church, and school. She volunteered her time, talents, and often resources, as a quiet and joyful testament to her love for others and God. She loved sports, participating in many in her younger years, and later cheering her family on as they took over the participant roles. Other hobbies included piano lessons, cake decorating, entertaining, games with her grandchildren, gift-giving, and shopping. Ann knew how to hunt down a bargain!

She and Jim moved from Dansville to Greece, NY after Jim's retirement to be closer to their cherished family and grandchildren. She was blessed to have made many lifelong friends.

Ann is survived by her loving family, Michelle(Mark) LaBue-daughter, Paul(Kim) Kenna-son, Julie(Mike) Beale-daughter, Nunzio(Donna) Cicero-brother, Rosemary Swede-sister, Sharon Landcastle-sister-in-law, Nancy(Peter) Neidrauer-sister-in-law, Mike Kenna-brother-in-law, Josh LaBue-grandson, AJ LaBue-grandson, Jack LaBue-grandson, Megan Kenna-granddaughter, Makenzie Beale-granddaughter, Rex Beale-grandson, and Chloe Beale-granddaughter.
