In December of 1942, David was born in Rochester, NY. He attended John Marshall High School, graduating in 1961. He ran track and played basketball.

He met the love of his life, Mary Ann at the age of 16, she was 15 while in high school. They had 3 children; David Jr., Vicki, and Michelle, and later were blessed with 7 grandsons; Aric, David, Aaron, Ryan, Andrew, Luigi, and Michael. And not to be forgotten, great-grandson, Alaric.

After high school, David served in the Army and the Army Reserves from 1962-68. After his time in the military, he was employed by Kodak for 26 years. In May of 2022, he was invited to partake in Honor Flight to share with other honorees in a day of recognition at our nation's memorials with his son David, Jr.

To David, family was priority. He loved spending time with them all and enjoyed watching his grandsons play their sports. He also loved watching sports on TV, especially golf, and Yankee and Giants games. He was a fan of the show "Family Feud" and "World Series of Poker."

He liked going to the track with Lou Tufano, playing cards and going to the casino. Anytime he could rouse his son, son-in-law, grandsons, Uncle Mertz, Uncle Gavin, Gino, Stefan or anyone else to go fishing with him, he would! Traveling with their honeymoon friends, Jim & Ann Marie Kling was also high on his list of things he liked doing.

He had many good friends, Jim & Ann Marie Kling, The Breakfast Club: The Tufano's, Palluconi's, Goldman's, and Tomaselli's as well as all his poker buddies and neighbors at Fieldstone. In his "spare" time he served on the board at the Villas at Fieldstone as well as ran BINGO there.

Besides being remembered for making the best baby back ribs and baked beans, David was a good role model for all who looked up to him. He was always reliable, never late - always early, and was known as the "Human GPS." More importantly, he was a good provider for his family, a loyal husband, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be remembered warmly.
