Mary Margaret (Carr) Nowack
Greece - May 21, 2022. Mary is predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. Nowack, and her brothers, William Kelly Carr and James Truman Carr, Jr. She is survived by her children, Brian Nowack, Mary Jo (David) Catalfo, Daniel (Nina) Nowack, Sheila Baird and Kevin Nowack; beloved grandchildren, Alyssa (Gary Shick) Nowack, Kaitlin Burdick, Erin (Simon) Bombard, David "Jake" Catalfo, Cal Nowack, Thomas Nowack, Margaret Nowack and Colin Baird; great grandchild Hadley Bombard; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Mary grew up in the village of Lewiston, NY, graduating from Niagara University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science. Mary moved to Rochester to begin her nursing career, which she eventually finished as the nurse at St. Joseph's Villa.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, May 26, from 4 - 7PM at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626. Mary's funeral mass will be on Friday, May 27, at 10:30AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.
