May Jim's memory be a blessing. Wishing each of you Long Life and Peace.
Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. Jim's warm and vivacious personality made everyone feel welcomed. He created a bar atmosphere at Ferris Goodridge that felt like "Cheers" -- " . . .where everyone knows your name . . ." Jim's obvious love for living life to the fullest was evident in all that he did for the Legion post and especially during Music nights. Jim worked hard to help raise money for the post by being instrumental in establishing Live Music Nights, Prime Rib Dinners, and Casino Bus Trips, as well as holding 50-50 Raffles and Drawings for Prizes at these events. From SAL member to Bar Manager to Raffle Ticket Seller to Chief Cook and Dishwasher, one could find Jim in the thick of things. Jim's affable, boisterous, fun loving, and caring spirit, along with his infectious smile, gave him a larger-than-life personality. It was this spirit that drew one in to volunteer at these events and join in the merriment. Our entire family will miss him greatly. It was an honor and a pleasure to have known Jim and be able to call him a friend in every sense of the word.

Jimmie was one of the first ones to welcome us to the post. His infectious smile and laugh will be very missed. GOD has a very special angel with Him now. Love you always
