James A. Maloney Sr.
Greece: May 31, 2021. James is predeceased by his parents, William & Yolanda Maloney; his brother, Thomas Maloney. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice B. Maloney; children, James Maloney Jr, Jennifer (Jim) Seeman, Patricia Maloney & Joseph (Melanie) Maloney; 17 grandchildren; brothers, William Maloney (JoAnn Thomas), John (Diane) Maloney & Patrick Maloney (Marie Sergent); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Jim retired from the Greece Central School District after 34 years of service. He was the former Commander of the Monroe County S.A.L and also the Spencerport American Legion S.A.L., Post 330.

James's life story will be shared during visitation, 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 3rd at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am on Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in James's name to the Spencerport American Legion Post 330, 691 Trimmer Road, Spencerport NY 14559.

James was a loving husband, son, father, and grandfather. The middle child of 5 boys, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing with the guys at his camp in Big Flats, NY., Air Ivanhoe and Foleyet, Ontario Canada, as well as deer hunting with his beloved sons. He was dedicated to the Veteran's community and honored them through countless hours of volunteerism as a member of the Spencerport American Legion S.A.I. (Sons of the American Legion). James served as former Commander of both Monroe County S.A.L. and the Spencerport American Legion S.A.L., Post 330.
