Frank was born in Scido, Reggio Calabria, Italy in 1931. He grew up with his sister, Maria, and brother, Mario. Frank completed school to the 5th Grade, which is the equivalent of 8th Grade here in the States. As a young boy he helped his family work the land they owned that had olive groves. He helped pick the olives and keep an eye on his grandfather, who at that time was getting older.

Frank left Italy in 1955 to meet up with his sister and brother-in-law, Antonio, in Montreal, Canada to find a job and start his adult life. In 1958 he met Antonia ("Antoinette"). They married in 1960 and lived in Montreal temporarily until Frank was approved to live and work in the U.S. Frank and Antoinette started out in a house in the City of Rochester, in the shadows of the old Hollider Stadium. They soon started their family and moved to Greece. Together they raised Maria, Cathy and Grace, while Frank studied to become a U.S. Citizen. He achieved this goal in 1968. Frank eventually became a grandfather to 5 loving grandchildren.

Frank worked most his career at Alliance Tool & Die as a machinist. He retired in 1993 at the age of 62. Over the years he enjoyed family gatherings with lots of good food and wine, attended his grandkids' soccer games, made wine and tended to his vegetable garden. He is lovingly remembered as a good husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.
