History

Sam enjoyed: bowling, watching golf, playing shuffle board and watching the NY Yankees. His personality will be remembered as generous, humorous, strong opinioned and as a loyal friend. He loved his grandchildren great-grandchildren, they affectionately referred to him as the "ice cream man." One of Sam`s more memorable sayings was "I`m too fast for death," as he proved for 98 years.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Leukemia Society, 4053 Maple Rd., Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226 in Sam`s memory.



Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Sam`s visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2-4 7-9. Sam`s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 11, 10:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. (West of Elmgrove). Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.



Additional Information

In the past Sam was an active member of the Gates Republican Party and he worked on several political campaigns. He was a pilgrim in the Loyal Order of the Moose Club and was active in both the Rochester Churchville Lodges. Sam was the owner of Kenwood Decorator`s. He was most noted for his reliability within his profession.
