Our Family Caring For Yours
Funerals and Burials
Tradition goes hand in hand with comfort and connectedness. For some, this continuity is what is needed as they celebrate their loved one.
A Traditional and Timeless Choice
Today there are more options than ever to celebrate the life of your loved one. A meaningful funeral service will honor how special they were. It will give you and other surviving family members what you may need as you say goodbye. Every individual deserves their own unique service upon their passing as no two people are alike. Choosing burial as the final disposition grants a final resting place to visit and connect spiritually with your loved one.
Funeral service
We offer personalized, traditional services that can include the following:
- Visitation with family and friends
- Funeral ceremony
- Burial of your loved one at the cemetery (may be private or public)
- Reception
Location of the funeral ceremony and reception are of your choosing. We will go over available options during the arrangement process.
The value of a viewing
The main reason to have a “viewing” is to allow people to have a physical presence when saying their goodbyes. Whether or not an open casket is part of the celebration is an individual family choice. Since most people are visually inclined by nature, it often helps to see the person for the death to be “real” to them. A funeral helps people begin to transition their relationship with the person who died. Seeing the body sometimes helps.
Personalized Celebration
Through traditional or contemporary services, many are turning to unique, personalized ways of honoring a life. A personalized service tells a life story. It might include photos and some of your loved one’s personal items. This revives wonderful memories. We’re happy to guide you in personalizing a service that will be fulfilling for you. From facilitating a jazz quartet to play, to releasing balloons, displaying memories with photo boards or playing a video tribute, a unique remembrance is focused on celebrating the unique life lived.
Graveside Service
Graveside services can follow a traditional funeral or can be held as the only service event. Graveside services are often held as private gatherings of only close family and friends.
Live Streaming or Recording
Many family friends are unable to attend the service but wish to be a part of the remembrance and celebration. For those, we’re able to offer live streaming video of the service or a recorded video to ensure everyone who wishes to participate can.
