OPTIONS FOR CALLING HOURS
These following items are ideas to create a more meaningful, personal experience for
visitation hours:
- Private or Public Visitation
- Memory Book - Friends and family can write memories of your loved one
- Personal items - Displayed in front of room which reveals the personality of your loved one
- Pictures - Displayed in front of room which shows the memories you’ve shared
- Music - Special music selections can be played during visitation hours
- Video - Home videos can be viewed in an area away from the casket and flowers
- Items in casket - Placed in casket to be with your loved one
- Prayer Cards - May be placed by register book to be taken if so desired
- Video Tribute - Photos of your loved one, set to music with an appropriate background. This video is produced on a DVD which you can take home and have as a keepsake.
OPTIONS FOR THE MORNING OF FUNERAL
At the Funeral Home:
- Private or public visitation
- Readings may be read
- Musical selections may be played
- Eulogy may be read
- Memories may be shared aloud to each other
At the Church:
- Upon discussing with the clergy, you may choose readings and songs for the service
- At the service you may choose to have someone say a Eulogy
At the Cemetery:
- Flowers may be handed out to be placed on the casket
- Someone may sing a song
- Prayers may be said with or without clergy present
- Honor Guard may conduct military service for veteran
