History She is survived by her beloved children, Kathryn Wolf, Karen (Gary) Olmstead, Andrea (Peter) Schlau, Stephen (Katherine) Nider, Sonya (Harold) Dotson; adoring grandchildren, Rebecca (Jamie) Marks, Bryan Wolf, Nicole (Christopher) Romankiewicz, Robert Olmstead, Kirsten Schlau, Andrew Dotson, Phillip (Jesslin) Dotson, Eric Schlau, Brandon Dotson, Stephanie Nider, Alexis (Tyler) Fain; 2 great-grandchildren; niece Pat (Bob) Disher; nephew Bob (Jamie) Smith.
Donations In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in Dorothy's memory.
Services Dorothy's visitation at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd.), will be Monday 7-9 PM. Her Funeral Services will be celebrated Tuesday 1:30 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3450 Ridge Rd. West. Dorothy's graveside service will be 11 AM at Fritz's Lutheran Cemetery in Brothers Valley Township, PA.
Additional Information Dorothy was born in Gateshead England. She became a Naturalized US Citizen and raised her family her in America.
Once you became Dorothy's friend she was your friend for life. She maintained her friendships that she had while living in England, working at Delco or friendships she gained along the way were forever.
Dorothy always maintained her faith, she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Dorothy was intelligent, graceful, kind, resourceful, adventurous, generous, persistent, hard working, good looking and always seemed to maintain her sense of humor.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, playing bingo, dancing, reading and shopping. The adventurous side of her was shared with her husband Andrew in their desire to travel. Dorothy and Andrew traveled just about the entire Country by way of RV.
Without question Dorothy's family gave her the most joy in her life, especially her grandchildren. She always looked forward to spending Christmas and Birthday's with her family.
